I have a 07 crew cab tacoma and im going to put some toyo mud terrains 265/70/17 tires on it. I dont do any off roading but i want the tires so i can use it for hunting. I'm going to put a 3 in lift on it, cant decide between AAL and spacers or a fabtech coil lift kit. I take care of my vehicles so it wont do anything strenuous but driving down a muddy road. Will having 33 in tires rub? How do i fix that? is there anything else I'm missing? I haven't ever had a truck with tires like this so I'm kind of clueless too it. The stock tires on it now are 29's and i get about 20ish mpg, how much i lose with an upgrade to 33's?

I would personally go with the coil lift. I like my OME lift. May need a little trimming, not much.

    My sig has my stats.

You will lose gas mileage. No way around it.

265s aren't 33s, if anything it's either a tall 31 or a short 32 depending on what mfg you go with

Those aren't 33" tires. They will fit fine with no rubbing at all. You'll lose 1-2MPG between the tires and lift, give or take.

Ok, well thats not much of a difference than the 29' stock tires on it. a 3 in lift should help with the rubbing. But will i need a wheel spacer?

No, you won't rub other than maybe the little front flaps in the front wheel wells so I took those off. I ran those tires with and without my lift.

I ran over a stick in the road and it messed mine up, so mine are off in the front too. How was the drive on the tires? Were they really loud or bumpy?
