That motor was swapped by my dad originally into my 87 pickup that was totaled. A bit of a maintenance whore but it was badass. It's the brown one right?

Lool, that's funny. Yes light brown over on Chris ave. He said the hyd throwout was leaky and gave him fits. He ended up busting the shift fork and never fixed it. So it needs some work...

I'm always down for a day-trip meet. Sat's or Sun's. I usually cruise around Peavine almost every weekend anyway.

1k for a runner SA with a 5.0? Sounds like you could possibly talk him down a bit and have a solid base project....

When I had my 89 toy I got a few things from Airport Auto wrecking I think it was. They were where Neil Rd ended at the airport property line. Not sure if they are still there though.

Thanks guys. I took the 85 out this weekend and grenaded the birfield trying to climb up a rock ledge. I made it back to camp without being able to turn left and no 4wd. Only had to get pulled out of one failed river crossing :D Luckily one of the dudes I was with had an extra in his backyard. Limped back to Gardnerville and fixed it Sunday morning.

Unrelated but this weekend's trip made me realize I need power steering ASAP, such a PITA without it. Looks like p-n-p has a possible donor truck.
