One of the adjustments I made was actually starting with my butt a little higher. Had a lot less hip movement at the bottom of the lift that way.

If I don't eat enough or get enough calories do y'all think it's a bad thing to get some kind of weight gainer or something like that. Even If I didn't. Do the whole serving and do just half a serving would that benefit

Weight gainers are there to add calories you can't get from food. If you aren't getting enough calories, eat more or get a weight gainer. When bulking, I make my own with 2 scoops of ON whey, a packet of oatmeal, a banana, peanut butter, and whatever else you wanna add in. Weight gainers aren't magic; they're just extra calories. You'd be better off just eating more. If you do get one, I recommend ON Serious Mass; it's great.

Got bogged down studying for the LSAT today and didn't even work out. Luckily, I'm back on 4 day splits, so I can make it up tomorrow. Studying is gonna be the death of my gainzzz

I don't know man. His back is almost parallel to the ground, and he's just about fully straightening his legs before he starts to straighten his back. Him sitting a little lower will allow him to put more weight on his heels, lean back, and explode up, instead of starting with his back parallel to the ground and pushing off with his toes. Also, check the bar distance from his shins. Looks like there is a good bit of room there.

UGA is my 1st choice; it's 29th in the nation. My second is Georgia State (where I graduate from in Dec) and it's 64th in the nation. I'm probably going to end up going to Ga State because it's closer to home, so I won't have to move, but if I get into UGA, I've got to go! Both are in the nation's top 100 though.

    Have you taken it?

From what I've heard it's from growing to fast for the skin to keep up.

I got them a few years back and they healed over a couple years

Would instant oatmeal be better or would the old fashioned oatmeal be ok too?

instant oats are full of preservatives and other nasty stuff... is it better than nothing? yes. But if you can I'd stick w/steel cut oats (most of the time you can stick it in the micro. It may take a few more mintues but in the long run its better than instant... add some fresh blueberries and a tbs of almond butter, you got yourself some good carbs right there!

Georgia State's 2013 graduation class had 87% employment 9 months after graduating and UGA's had 85% after 9 months. I interned for GA State Senator Burt Jones last year, as he is a friend of the family and when I graduate in Dec, I'll be interning for him at the capital full-time until law school starts in Sept, so hopefully he can introduce me around. I talked to him extensively about applying and he assured me that I'll be fine. He gave me the old, "it's not what you know, it's who you know speech." He's a really cool guy (and a former UGA football player, too!) Through him, I've been able to meet Herman Cain, Georgia's Governor, a few Senators, and some other great folks. I'm definitely busting ass to keep him in my corner. Moral of the story is that I've been networking for years making sure that I'm not gonna be working at Burger King with a JD degree lol.

Here's the ol' fiancee and I with Herman Cain....one of the greatest days of my life lol

they're both fine...calories are calories....actually, old fashioned oatmeal is better because it's more "natural" and not loaded with sugar. I hate oatmeal, so I have to get the instant stuff with apple cinnamon, maple syrup, banana, etc. flavoring to mask the taste lol

A while back I was eating a cup of old fashioned oatmeal with some raisens in it everyday M-F. I put them in some hot water and let them sit a few minutes and then ate them. I didn't microwave them or boil them like the container says. I just got hot water from the coffee maker here at work.

And my strength isn't really suffering all that much. I was benchin 285 when I weighed 157. Did 255 for 2 sets of 3 yesterday. It was a struggle...but it went up.
