I had a 2002 tundra and yeah they are about the same size....def not any bigger. I just loved the bench seats I had, those were great for sexy time on the road real quick

I was supposed to buy my dads 02 tundra AC from him as my first truck until he sold it to someone else. That thing was a tank.

You can take those parts off and move them to the other vehicle. I don't care how many mods you throw at a 2wd, its still not going where a 4x4 will. In most cases it wont go where a stock 4x4 will go. Not trying to be a dick, thats just the reality of the situation.

I did this. Bought a 2011 TRD sport PRERUNNER, modded it out, got stuck one too many times, traded it in on a 2012 TRD sport 4x4 same color 6 months later. Transferred over every part. Lost about $1,500 in the deal but I got a one year newer truck with 4x4.
Worth it to me to not have the hastle of a 4x4 conversion and not regretting it even more down the line after I had even more invested.

and the reality of it $1,500 over 5 year loan isn't much for getting what I want and being comfotable to go offroad.

Took a lot of patients searching and going back and forth with one dealer once I found the truck I wanted. I just stood firm on what I wanted to pay and after 1 month of the truck not selling they jumped on my offer again. granted the truck I got was like new with only 18,000 miles but it did have some light "trail pinstripping" all down the side that I am sure no one wanted to spend that much money on it without flawless paint. But I took it straight to the trails anyway and added to that so no biggie to me. Plus once I color waxed it you can't really tell anyway.

Anyone in a marketing position would tell you to name it something that would attract the attention of you targets. 4x4 outfitters, Off Road Armor something like that. Its not about sounding or looking cool, its about not letting any potential customers miss your products.

 

I personally like what you have. It has "offroad" in it and also it is personal with your kids names. Keeper in my book.
