Seeing as I drink at least a gallon and a half of water a day, I'm not hungry. When I'm in lacrosse and rugby season I eat 4000+ calories and don't gain an ounce, but off season I don't eat nearly as much. But I keep drinking water like I used to.

Lol how does water have any effect on whether or not you're hungry? Just stuff your little face with big spoonfuls of chow on a consistent basis...no one else here is going to give you some magic calorie pill or some shit...

Because with how much I drink I'm always full. I could eat what I cook at work, but I'm pretty sure that sonic isn't the greatest. Or would eating that be better than anything?

I am 100% sure you're not eating 4000+ cals, do you count them?

eat more. lots of water is fine

split your meals into smaller/more frequent meals if you need to

Counted my calories for a week, and I was anywhere between 3 and 5k calories.
EDIT: this was only when lacrosse and rugby were in full swing
Because Arizona. Last year I sucked at lacrosse, which I found out this year was due to hydration. Started forcing myself to drink a gallon before practice, and half a gallon during practice. Difference was night and day. Now I don't feel right if I don't drink at least a gallon a day.

I'm impressed that you can eat 4000 a day. I barely get 3500 and I'm eating all the time. It sure pays to be young enough that your body will allow such things

if you are having trouble getting calories in, stick with calorie dense foods. Stick to a high fat diet, since fat is 9 cal per gram. keep your protein at around 1g-1.5g per lb bw, and just go to town on fats and carbs.
im talking about cheese steak, fried chicken, mac n cheese, pizza. because and let's all be honest here, trying to bulk on a clean diet is almost torture. you ,now how much food you have to eat if you eat clean? your fucking asshole would bust open with how much you have to shit.

    so TL;DR
    keep protein consistent
    eat calorie dense foods
don't be scared to eat dirty to get your carbs and fats in.

some people's body are genetically programed to be lean, hence why some people can do the whole IIFYM thing and some people have to eat clean.

My dad is extremely lean. 6'2 175, and still chases people around and kicks their asses wearing his full uniform.

make sure you get in enough protein, and go buck wild. and record your weight every week, try to aim for .5-1 lb a week, after a couple of weeks it'll slow down to probly .3-.5 lb a week. if you gain more than a lb a week then try to cut back a little.

Foooood. When I first started lifting and was a rail, I was eating 5000+ calories a day! Fuck clean eating if you want size. Eventually, you'll get where you want, and if you're like me, you'll need to start counting calories to not get a gut so that you can still make gains but keep body fat low. There are folks like Kodiak who still eat what they want and stay lean, but I can't because I'm too lazy. But actually gaining muscle when you're super skinny can only be done 1 way (legally) and that is food.

At a gallon and a half a day of water, You're simply talking about 12 16 oz glasses of water a day....there is NO reason your water intake should be making you SO full you can't eat. If that's the case, you're doing it wrong.

And don't over hydrate, you'll wash the electrolytes out of your system and start to feel like shit...Maybe that's why you don't wanna eat.
