Too poor to list anything interesting.

Looks good. At least they're done and you shouldn't have to worry about them again. Just check for slow leaks for the rest of the night and tomorrow, just to be sure.

I know for a FACT that it's illegal to have a firearm on any college campus in Texas. Going to UH, I was quite upset that as a 30 year old veteran, even with a CHL I couldn't carry while going to school in the hood. On a side note, Fuck UH.

The leaf springs? Those are my Deaver springs. They are not made to carry extra weight and I have about 400 extra pounds on the rear. I'm installing my allpro expos tomorrow. Just installed the brake lines this evening.

I installed the deavers about two years ago. Before that I just has the stock 3 leaf springs. Toyota had a TSB to get a add a leaf installed and the started putting 4 leaf springs on the trucks. My stock springs were sagging really bad when I installed the deavers. That is why I said 2" of lift. But Deaver states 1" of lift for these springs.

This. Good quality flare nut wrenches shouldnt strip the nut, but there are a few other variables involved too. Vise grips are also pretty useful.

Eh. I can't tell you how many times my friends and I had our firearms in our vehicles or in the House. We left them there more out of convenience because we'd constantly go to the shooting range because one of the brothers worked there and got us in for free, but after one of our buddies was jumped walking to his car during Frontier Fiesta and beaten with a baseball bat, I think ALL of us carried.

    WHOSE HOUSE

    Looks much better man!

Certain leaf packs will give you more lift than others. Dakars will give you 3" and AP Expos will give you 4" (I think).

Yeah. The wrenches seemed to be good quality. I ended up using vise grips and an extra person to help.

I couldn't say exactly because I never measured it. I have 5100's in the front set to 2.5" and when I have no weight in the bed my truck looks level.

I don't know about the eibachs cause I have never had them. My 5100s with stock coils rode great for the last two years. But now that I added the plate bumper my ride has gone to crap. I am replacing the front coilovers and uca in the next few weeks.

I think it's a mixture of putting 40,000 miles in two years on them and then adding the +100 lb bumper last month. They are just worn out and now you can really feel it in the ride.

I'm always cool with the techs and they always hook me up. I always tip them at least a 5er.
Not sure how it happens, but they always go the extra mile for me. I never asked for the lugnuts, I told the assistant manager if my stock lugnuts work reuse them. They worked but were a bit tight requiring a thin wall socket to be used. The tech took it upon himself to install the Gorilla lugnuts and told me that he did me a solid when he pulled my truck to the front. So I slid him a 20 as I shook his hand.

The wheel lugnut kit at discount are typically 45-55, the lugbolts are 70. Why did they quote you 80?

Edit: now that I think about it, about three years ago the same assistant manager and I had it out when they scratched one of the SSR GT3s on my FX45. He could be telling them to hook me up to make things right because he knows that they did indeed scratch my 2 of my wheels.

You should be fine. Plus being in college (engineering school) you won't be adding too many mile to your truck during the semesters.
