    It will be covered since its under the "Primary Coverage" period. I was shopping around for headlights, now the dealer can do them for me.

    Thanks, I hadn't read the bulletin carefully enough. Spoke to my the dealer this morning, they confirmed and have placed the order for the new headlight assemblies.

    Try calling corporate. I did that before calling my local dealer. I gave corporate my VIN, they confirmed & gave me a case number, just in case (ended up not needing to refer to it when talking to the dealer, but doesn't hurt to have).

    How crazy is that... I just saw and read this thread yesterday and today low and behold I've got the Warranty Enhancement Notification in the mail. I've already replaced my headlights once before. If the service manager knows his stuff, he's gonna notice right away because 2006 TRD Sports did not come equipped with "Smoked Chrome" headlights which is what I have now. Wouldn't you know it, one of my headlights now has tiny bubbles. Unfortunately, the other one doesn't have any bubbles or cracks in the inner lens.

    Has anyone had both headlights replaced even though one headlight was effected? How did you go about getting that done?

    I need some feedback. I plan on calling Toyota tomorrow to ask but was curious to know what the field is saying about the situation.

    I don't see anything on this notice about having both headlights replaced. I would think that only the bad one would be replaced.

    Take the letter you got in the mail with you to a dealer. They will change both headlights. Its part of the TSB. Took mine in today. The service consultant looked it all up. and everything checks out. I will have new ones on next week.

    They would be complete idiots if they did not change both. If they give you any grief about it then call corporate and report them. Then take your business elsewhere

    This is great to hear, mine melted over a year ago. 09 with 56k, I think I should be good to go. My dealer performed the leaf spring tsb no questions asked, their good to work with. I have also bought like three cars from them so that always helps.

    To the both of you... Were both your headlights bubbled on the inner lenses or was it just one? I already called corporate and they said they would only replace the one that's considered a defect.
