so right now i have the 4 tabs wedged over the ARB tabs (2 over each side)...it's a snug fit and levels the lights out pretty good..

so i used plastic weld on all 4 tabs to secure it to the factory mounts... so far it's pretty solid, but idk how it'll hold to off road abuse...so i need to figure a good way to reinforce the mounting system i have

and the XB fogs have a screw adjuster, so once the mount is on, you can adjust the up and down very easily

on a last minute decision, i was able to join up with eric this weekend and head to ouray for FJ Summit 8.. it was a short but great trip.. running mainly just me and eric, we were able to cover some ground and see some really cool stuff

so far i just have pics i uploaded from my phone, but here's some from the weekend...

got in friday evening, just in time for Metal Tech's party...next day, we somehow got our drunk asses up and hit black bear pass and back on imogene pass...sunday morning was another early one as the annual photo shoot takes place at the ass crack of too fucking early..after the shoot, eric and i took the long-cut home via mineral creek>cinnamon pass

    rolling into Ouray County

group shot with bridal veil falls and the power house
    [IMG]

after black bear, mike (in the 80) split off and eric and i continued our way up imogene...finally got to complete this! last time i attempted this was with Jace a few years back and we were turned back a little past Tomboy mine due to the deep snow that fell the evening/night before

    from the sept '11 trip
    [IMG]

exploring Tomboy Mine...much less snow this time :D

How are the new brakes treating you bob?

I needed to do my brakes and your same set up was pretty cheap on Amazon so I pulled the trigger. Looking forward to being able to stop a little faster.

i like them. the break in process was a pain to get that many miles down before you can really rely on them...but they're doing good

i haven't really had an opportunity to really test them out on long braking where i saw fading on the factory setup... but i haven't noticed any fading yet on anything i've thrown at them so far...

biggest fade i ever saw on the factory setup was coming down John Brown Canyon outside of Gateway, CO...so i think the real test would be to come back down that descent and see how they hold up
