This sounds like fun. Put me down as a maybe. The 26th works and maybe camping too.

If this is the trail I am thinking of, you go out to cle elum, then north past Salmon La Sac. I have been part of a camping group that would go to Salmon La Sac every year on the last full weekend of July, and it is hot out almost every year by this time. You shouldn't have any snow to deal with by now.

Also, I will not be able to go as I will be cleaning my house after a wedding the night before.

That is the trail. Some guys my dad knows went up this last weekend and said there is no snow on the trail and they camped at the lake.

Darn, hope you have fun at the wedding and your house doesn't get to trashed. My neighbors had one and it looked like a bomb went off the next morning..

Try not to fuck a bridesmaid in the broom closet. Always a difficult proposition at weddings...

    1. Does it count if it is my wife as one of the bridesmaids?
    2. Does it count if it is in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms?
    3. Does it count because it is my house and property?

The wedding is for my sister in law to marry her girlfriend, lesbian wedding.

Ok I'll commit to trail run and camping as well. I have a handheld radio, Viair compressor, tow strap, and a collection of tools. I have rock sliders just sitting at home. I should get off my ass and install them!

Fortune Creek/Gallagher Head Lake Trail run list. Stock jeeps can run this trail so you do not need a lift to come, I am on stock suspension for now.

Where: Cle Elum, Gallagher Head Lake Trail
Meet up: North Bend chevron station 9AM, exit 31 off of i-90 east
    Time: 9AM
TBATrail Comms: I have Ham radio, CB, and small hand helds.

Equipment to bring: Essential Camping gear, water, food, tow strap (shouldn't need it but still good to have) tow points, air source, tools, some kind of radio listed above if you have one, camping chair, fire starter and possibly wood. I guess this gives you motivation to do it!

Just to make sure, is a earlier morning meet up okay with everyone? From North Bend it is about an hour to the trail head, then about hour and a half to do the trail. I was thinking 9am?

Is that area effected/affected by the fires?
I have been looking on the news for a map of the area of these fires and all that is given is county names, not a topo map.

The only fire that I am aware of is the Entiat fire, which is way north by wenatchee. Unless there is a new fire there but I haven't heard of any. If you go to google earth/maps and type in "gallagher head lake" it will take you there.
If you look up the snoqualmie web cams and look at the WSDOT website, the camera by cle elum on the east side is right at the exit you take. Looks clear to me.
