    :) Thanks guys

Word has it that the new 16x8" Countersteer Offroads in silver and in anthracite light gunmetal will be here on or about August 15 (hopefully sooner). No photos of these specific wheels yet, but I do have photos from a few years back when similar colors were offered.

Also, the 16x8" Konig Countersteer Type X wheels will be back in stock very, very soon, and a new-for-the 16" Countersteer TypeX-color will be available : graphite gunmetallic. This is in addition to dark metallic blue, matte black and matte bronze which have been the standard colors for the 16x8" Konig Countersteer Type X.

Nice! I think i'll definitely be in the market for wheels next spring. But i may buy them and sit on them. My stock steelies are rusting more every day :(

I'm also trying armorall wheel protection stuff to combat all the dust from my ebc brake kit. I hope it would help me preserve a beautiful set of aftermarket wheels like these :D

That's definitely another added benefit to having clear coated aluminum alloy wheels - no rust! Although they are not salt-proof, so you'd still need to take care and caution if they salt the roads where you live.

The Armorall Wheel Protectant should work well on any of our gloss-clear coated wheels. For matte wheels I'd recommend a good wax and spray detailer to keep the factory matte sheen. Some of the waxes and protectants have chemicals in them that enhance gloss.

FYI - the new silver and the new light gunmetal will both be gloss clear coated wheels, so that protectant should work just fine. :)

Nice! The armorall goes on like clear coat in a can...so it may not be the best for the matte wheels but we'll have to see! Thank you for all your help and advice Dustin!

No problem! I can also recommend some protectants for matte wheels. Just PM me if you have any questions. :)

Beautiful truck! Thank you for posting! :)

The weight difference is fairly negligible. Both 17x8" wheels weigh very close to 20.5lbs.

How about gunmetal on green, in some light it looks black...ugepe3ev_65520bf8a8957e258fa8b8b07c8a7f4a72d7a9de.jpg

Love mine as much as day one :D They take a good beating with me at the wheel. Got some good rash on a few wheels but the gunmetal hides it really well. Picture

We haven't had Konig make the dark metallic blue on the 16x8" Countersteer Offroads in years. Unfortunately I do not have any left, but we do have the 16x8" Countersteer Type X in dark metallic blue:

    http://www.fnwheels.com/16x8-konig-countersteer-type-x-wheels-are-here/

This color looks black or dark gunmetal in most lighting, but when the sun hits it the blue definitely "pops."

On a black truck you can really go with any color. I think graphite gunmetal, matte bronze or the dark metallic blue look best on a black truck.

So few of the 16x8" dark metallic blue wheels have been manufactured (and subsequently so few have been sold), that I don't have too many photos / combinations. If you happen to be anywhere near Corona, California you are welcome to come by and have me hold the wheels next to your truck to give you a visual.

Thanks for the post! Great looking truck! I agree, in a dark enough setting the combo could be used to substitute for a black truck. Thanks for your help. :)

Always love seeing your photos!

If I had indigo ink pearl I would definitely go with matte bronze, hands down.

Oh? Really? I thought i was on my own in that idea
Well...i've been trying to find other things to put on or paint in a bronze color to complement the wheels.

For example, if i went with gunmetal....i could plasti dip my emblems in gunmetal grey.

If only i had tan interior
I like blue with tan just like most people like red with tan.
