Is my tailgate correct for 2010 TRD Off Road?

Toyota had the sr5 badge on anymodel that was sr5+ including the trds until 2010...the 2011 model they got rid of it on the trd models

 

I never said it was a 4x4 and it isn't. It is a RWD that looks like a 4x4 which by Toyota's definition is a "Prerunner". The TRD Off Road package includes an LSD that is lockable, which is why the "RR Diff" switch is on the dash. The switch is only used at low speeds to lock the LSD so that you can free up a stuck vehicle and there is a sticker on the driver's door to explain how and when to use it.

Sorry if that confused anyone. My truck is definitely a Prerunner regardless of the missing badges on the tailgate.

All of 05 to 14 basic tailgates are the same, regardless of what is put on it. The previous owner took off the factory emblems- there would've been a Toyota one, a PreRunner one, a V6 one and a Tacoma one. Do you have Tacoma emblems on the front doors?

Like someone mentioned earlier, the bedside TRD decal appears off and it looks a little low, but you may be happier purchasing a set of custom decals from one of the decal vendors here.

Regardless, nice color choice.

 

All the other emblems, including the "Tacoma" on the doors are still in place.
