Thanks. I decided to go with ome 886 springs and their shocks for the front. Going get some LR UCAs and new wheel bearing hub assemblies also. Figure I'll do it all at once.

 

I am glad someone caught that. I hope he doesn't try to use those on rocks.

Thanks for the concerns guys! I'm fully aware of what these are and what they're for. I prefer the looks over conventional steps and my 5 yr old loves em. They work better than the regular steps to get to the roof (for me) to strap shit to the roof too. I'm not going over any rocks with this. Its my DD/work truck.

They bolt to the frame right? Wouldnt the bracket be the weak point regarless if its bolted or welded on? Anyway they look great man

Honestly...I think it would look pretty sick with the rims powdercoated black. I'm not a fan of black rims but I think that would set this off if I did that, so i agree!

 

Thanks! They don't however. Along with a large amount of 'regular' steps for the truck, they mount to factory hole/mounts already there from the factory. As with anything, as long as you know your intended use/application, you're fine. Just don't exceed.......a buddy of mine, 3 & a qtr plus lbs, hopped on them and rocked the truck pretty good and they didn't budge....That said, my sons and I are fine to use them for our intended purposes .

 

Mounted them this morning with new bolts. I think I like it for now. I just wanted to change something on my truck so this was an easy change. Got bored with her !
