Reading that thread made my head hurt and only confirms that opinions are like assholes and TW is full of them.
I will say, something isn't right on the install. Aaron, MWOAP and myself are just some of the DB guys on here that will prove most of those guys wrong with regards to DBs. You can wheel them and you can make them functional. Now the one thing that the 3 of us will say is that we wouldn't buy another DB if we were to do it again.

With that said, I really don't understand your issue. You have a vibration in 4hi only in the front?

Noob question.... So, a local guy here is selling two Fabtech front coilovers for a 6" lift for what I suspect is a reasonable price ($350 for both in great shape) and I was wondering...

    1. Is it more beneficial to buy these, and piece a 6" lift together, or just go ahead and buy the entire kit as is online? They are damn pricey, but this may cost more?...

    2. If I bought the coil-overs, what more would I need to safely, and effectively run the 6" lift? I'm guessing extended brake lines, a way to lift the rear (block or leaf pack?), diff drop, UCA's? Extended rear shocks? Anything else? Am I just asking for more headache then its worth?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

You figured it out. If you're going with a "drop bracket" style lift, you're way ahead to buy the complete kit from ProComp or Fabtech. Expensive as they are - still much cheaper than custom designing and fabbing up all that stuff and then (especially) troubleshooting and debugging any problems from parts you didn't get right the first time.
