You actually expect me that lie? The last time I heard a lie like that was about the twin towers and look at what ended up happening with that.

That's all I'm going to leave here.

It takes serious firepower to knock down a jet at cruising altitude going 600mph....

IMHO, In no way am I condoning what these people did but no commercial Airlines should be remotely close to a potential hazardous airspace

granted they have IFF but they are not equipped for SAM early warning nor is a 777 capable of evasive maneuvers to avoid a missile especially so early into their flight

my heart goes out to the families of the souls onboard

Just hope an Israeli jet doesn't get shot down. There would be outright war if that were to happen. They don't take anybody's crap.

If it did, there would be peace very soon on the Gaza Strip. Hamas only thinks it's being bombarded right now....

they cant afford to especially when you are not liked by any of your neighbors along with their previous history especially with the holocaust you tend to live with the motto of "never again"

anyone else notice all of the geographic flaws in that report.... the location, according to the Fox News map shown, was NOT on the Russian-Ukrainian border, or the eastern side of Ukraine AT ALL.. looking at their map it was on the western Polish border... not saying this isn't a tragedy and I feel for the families of those lost but seriously.. that's just shitty reporting

Hey, "near" is a very relative term.

sure i agree with that... but "near" the russian borer should at least imply the plane had actually made it to the eastern half of Ukraine like they actually said in the report while showing that the plane had clearly crashed on the western Ukrainian-Polish-Belarus border and hundreds of miles from the Russian border..

23 Americans reported on the flight. Not that it makes a difference where they were from... I'm just curious if el presidente will do more than wag his finger at those responsible.

For those saying it wasn't near the Eastern side of Ukraine.

From the BBC website (I don't trust American news):
