    Good to hear you figured it out!

    Yea wasn't sure what your oil pan looked like and if it was baffled it may have possibly been overlooked to create passages between the baffles... Watch your pressures under high G corners...(do you have datalogging setup) That's what forced us to go full sump system. Even with AMS baffles in our Evo oil pan we were dropping pressures dangerously low in long fast corners. I have no doubt your truck will be seeing similar cornering G's :D

    Bam! That was us except we're only 550 at the wheels and our datalogger was flashing apeshit telling us oil was non existent so we stood a chance... Had minor scoring the next time we cracked the motor for a rebuild from running it that way. So we bored it out :) oil is a good thing to have pressure behind!

    Yeah. I am glad we figured it out as well. That it was such a simple problem. Wish I would have just attached the dang oil cooler in the first place though, in hindsight. Oh well. Keep moving forward and Nevr give up. We have been trouble shooting the last two days, and Robert has been putting in some serious hours. Checked compression, inspected cams, inspected each cylinder with the bore scope, and all is well. There is still a loud ticking noise coming from the heads. Narrowed it down to the front of the valve train, with my make-shift stethoscope. Unplugged the VVT oil solenoid, and the noise nearly disappeared. So going to swap those out with the ones on the other engine. As well as inspect the chain tensioners.

    Once we get this latest issue overcome, we can start taking things at a slower pace. We are work in against the clock to be able to be ready to be tuned by next week, and be able to race. If it cannot be corrected in time, then obviously I will have to delay tuning and bypass racing.

    About the racing...there is rumor of someone working on a dry sump system for the 1GR. Also, another friend of ours made a nifty baffle for his Xrunner. Wouldn't be hard to duplicate what he did, for our style oil pan. Very simple, and very effective. Different from the Coupe billet oil pan, which has baffles and BMW louvers. The plans are there, just not yet. I feel sorry for that guy in the video. That is a gut wrenching feeling.

    I have taken a lot of cues from the VQ engine. Their plastic plenum has been known to handle up to 18 psi. Doesn't like more than that though. Not sure if that will be the case for ours, but it is a reference point. Hopefully I don't need to go that high....

    Day 4 of troubleshooting had great success. We found the issue related to the valve train. Getting a few things done today, to keep moving forward.

    Yesterday, we pulled the truck into the garage and got to work. Pulled the intake and valve covers. Immediately before even check in anything else, I noticed the problem. In your face obvious. I'll get into that later. I pulled every cam bearing and inspected them for wear. They all looked good.

    Replaced the two VVT oil actuators, and marked and l pulled the y-pipe so that some bungs could be welded on. So that the N/A tuning can commence. Robert is running those errands as well speak.

    Colin, my Gates Racing Accessory belt arrived yesterday. Test fit it on the spare engine, and it fits perfectly. Just need to install it ln the truck now. Was too busy yesterday during troubleshooting.

    Something needed desperately arrives today. The Tanabe USA Oil pressure gauge. I have one for the ProEFI, but that doesn't help when it isn't being used, and the fact that it isn't even installed yet, since the ProEFI isn't being used. The gauge is so look :drool:
