    I just picked up my Tepui roof top tent from the freight shipping yard.

    And realized I screwed up and ordered the XL Kekunam ruggedized tent

    And not the regular sized one.

    The XL is 4" longer than the bed on this damn truck.
    Also, this model is now sold out-
    If you're in socal & want a badass roof top tent, I'll sell you this for 2,000$ even.
    It'll be cheaper than paying for shipping and this thing is still in the freight box! Lemme know before I return it

    I'm mad I didn't get a picture. The damn thing weighed 230 lbs and hung over the back of the bed by 8" when I finally got to set it back there there's no way I could have made it work without poppin wheelies all day.
    Might have been cool if I wanted to camp with 5 other people though!

    Turns out it's in high demand & they sent me a freight truck to take it back to them same day.
    So I gotta wait for the regular size to come back in stock. Agh.

    Troubleshooting time!

    There's a motor that keeps kicking on- sounds like a fuel pump or something- just under the dash near steering wheel area...
    I've heard it very rarely, but since relocating the fuel pump resistor and re-routing 8" of heater core hose, it kicks on all the time. Doesn't last more than a second each time, but made the buzzing sound three times in a quarter mile when the truck was warming up this AM


    any ideas?

    Deleted the check valve in this setup and solved the problems.

    I'm ecstatic.
    Thermostatic valve mixes hot & cold so one button to turn the pump on and perfect temp. Shower water comes out.

    5 gallon bucket gives about 10 minutes of perfect steamy water. Expo rig is coming along quite nicely now

    Yup. I said tacomaworld sent me here and I was recommended this location and some old white dude with like three teeth in his head charged me that. He said some bullshit about the water based paint being expensive etc... Never ever coming back unless they'll repaint my scratches for free. I had an old Chevy s10 painted at this same place and had numerous issues... Don't know who your uncle is but I don't plan to let anyone I know near his shop. Money is money man

    What are you driving through with your tires, razor blades? If you wheel Barstow then you don't need to say any more. I haven't had any issues with mine and I've folded mine up and dragged them through rocks with out a single flat.

    Well one was busted while driving on railroad tracks - an old railroad wood plank broke in half and shoved a spear through the side
    The second.... I was screwing around on part of an old race track around where king of the hammers ran. Same place I bashed in the rear bumper
    This one I have no idea though I didn't do anything particularly stupid or reckless and found a big gash in it. Agh.
