Suspension help please!

Put a ready lift leveling kit on the front of my taco about 9 months ago, and not wondering what I should do with the rear end. Always liked the prerunner look and now I'm getting a little tired of it. Stock 3 leaf rear. Not too worried about price on what I get, just wondering opinions. Should I leave as is or change? What should I buy to lift if I change?

 

Also. Don't wanna sit rear high, but if it's only slightly and hardly noticeable then I wouldn't complain.

You could go Bilsteins or icon with new coil overs and an add a leaf. Just depends on what you need for the type of wheeling you do.

 

I don't wheel. I'm keeping the spacer. I just need help with read setup.

 

If your riding around on the road get a 5100 lift from toytec. If you offroad get Icons... a real leaf pack in the rear would be nice too. I recomend Allpro expo or dakar.

 

And yes you need a new title

 

How do I change title? And I just need rear setup. Nothing with front end because I'm going to keep my spacer.

How much lift did your leveling kit provide in the front?

 

I got a full 3 inches. I went from noticeably rear high to noticeably nose high.

 

Then get the dakar or all pro leaf pack and some 5100 shocks for the rear. The all pro pack is around 2.5 inches of lift and the dakar is around 2.75. If you are looking for something cheap do a 2 inch add a leaf.

 

Will that cause me to be really rear high?

 

Stock is a one inch rake meaning 20 inches up front 21 inches in the rear. You added a 3 inch lift in the front without doing anything to the rear. so you are at 23 inches in the front 21 in the rear. This give you 2 inches of bro lean. The allpro pack would add 2.5 inches to the rear. So you would be at 23 inches up front with 23.5 in the rear. This give you a half inch rake. Less then the stock one inch. or you could do a 2 inch add a leaf and be level.

 

I'll probably look into a 2 inch. How do I measure to see how much difference I actually am between front and rear?
