Wrong brake pads?

    I'm confused guys. I got my brake pads delivered by Amazon yesterday, but they seem to be the wrong kind for my 2010 Tacoma.

    Here is what I ordered:
    $35 Wagner Brake ThermoQuiet QC906A Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set

    The problem is that my brake pads are held in place with caliper pins, and there are corresponding holes in the brake pads where the pins go through to hold them in place. None exist on these new ones.

    What bothers me is that Wagner's website also points to these exact same pads as replacement pads for my 2010 Tacoma. What's the deal here?

    It says on Amazon when you put in 2010 Tacoma in the "make sure it fits section" that it fits a 5lug maybe that's the problem?

    Damnit, you're right. That pisses me off. Didn't notice that at all.

    This was going to be my first brake job. It's 95F here and I had my truck jacked up and wheels off before I noticed.
    Oh well, nobody but myself to blame.

    You can still do it yourself. Just reassemble and get the proper ones this time. This is a good lesson to learn though. Be sure you have the proper parts before you start any projects.

    Yep. Mea Culpa. Just didn't see it. I'm used to seeing the green 'This fits' and rolling with it. New set will be here Saturday :)
