So I installed a dual battery system into my 09 tacoma and when I hooked everything back up my HID'S won't work? When I turn my high beams on the lights adjust for the high beams but no light at all from either of the HID'S ..!! I am going on vacation and need it fixed asap!! I checked all the wiring and fuses the only thing left to replace are the ballasts? Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before or have any ideas on what it could be!!

Do you have it hooked through the stock lights power for the switch or do you have an aux switch?
Have you pulled the fuses out and put them back in? I've found the fuses get hot and melt the plastic surrounds sometimes.
Do you have 12v before the ballasts?
Can't quite get more into it. Pretty much the reason I pulled mine out.
    What brand you go with?

And yes I did pull the fuses the ones in the stock fuse block and the ones in my aftermarket fuse block which is actually powering the ballasts

are you using a relay harness? There is a fuse on them usually and that's what would probably go

I will have to double check on that I took it apart and a bunch of water came out of it but I didn't notice a fuse, they are getting power because they switch from low to high beam but just no light?

I would pull everything apart and start from scratch. Make sure the splices or connector pins are making good contact. Just go from start to finish.

That's what I'm going to do after work but I think I might of fried something because it only happened after I put my dual battery kit in, the battery's are wired up to be a 12 volt circuit though so I don't know how it could of damaged anything

Do your ballasts have their own grounds?

You had water inside the relay harness? Mine did that and shorted out eventually. I had to replace the harness and they started working again.
