Never have. Only sprains. Sounds very strange though how you lost all your movement.

If you broke something you should know unless it's a stress fracture. When I snapped my ankle a few years it was an instant feel. Granted, it was facing the wrong way too, but that's another story.

I stress fractured a couple of toes when I was rehabbing the ankle and I didn't feel anything different, just a pain when I flexed my foot.

Definitely worth checking out, you might get stuck having an MRI though, which will be a blast going in head first. The only time I went in, I went in feet first.

I dislocated my shoulder once. Couldn't move it at all and also had a bump in my back from the actual joint being out of the socket. I had to have someone else pop it back in for me and the pain went away quickly. As for the noise, it was more of a pop/crack noise as opposed to a squish. As long as you do the stretches they show you at the chiro you should be good, especially if it is your first time dislocating it.

Bah. Don't think it's a break; the pain from breaks doesn't fade back like this did after it made the squishy poppy noise.

Gah! I didn't notice any lumps in my back, but when it made the noise I thought I felt the shoulder joint shift backwards. Maybe I pushed it out frontwise?

Yeah, first time this has happened.

    Exactly.

When I did my ankle I had about 30 seconds before the pain kicked in and then it was pretty terrible until about a week after surgery.

Yeah, this was the opposite, really. Immediate extreme pain until it made that noise, and then it subsided to just a throbbing ache pretty quickly and function came back. Almost like getting over a muscle spasm; it loosened up gradually over something like 30 seconds or so, and as it loosened up the pain faded back too.

Of course, now it's stiffening up in good shape even though I'm icing it and keep stretching it.

So my drivers side LR UCA ball joint decided to slide in towards the coil tower... I was all cambered out lol

Went to autozone and the nice gentleman there let me borrow a 32mm socket! I jacked the front up by the shackle on my bumper and broke the ball joint free, then slid it back out where it is supposed to be, and cranked down on it. As a result, my steering wheel is kinda crooked, but oh well, my tires are about as vertical as I can get em, so I'm happy

I predict a post in less than a month complaining about irregular tire wear.

My tires were already wearing irregularly with the stock UCA's. Nothing I'm worried about with these old tires.

I'm getting the truck realigned Monday for free because the caster is off and it pulls right.
