Hey yota are you running the OME trim packer on the 5100s? On toytec it says that they are only for nitro chargers but I would like to be able to use them if possible..

No.My bad. I had to go back and look. I used the 1/4" top plate spacer.

I appreciate it man. My wife got me the 884s and I'm just afraid I'll end up with either not enough lift and have to trim a bunch, or end up with too much and have to get UCAs. I'll end up getting the top plate spacer like you.. Did you put on each side or just driver side?

Only on the driver's side to correct the taco lean.

Ah. I see. I figure I'll do that, and if it turns out to be too low then I'll just buy a 1/2" spacer and put it on the driver side and move the 1/4" to the other side

Yeah that was my plan too, but for now I'm happy with the amount of lift I have. In the future I'm planning on Dakaar leaf packs, so that's when I'll do it. I like a moderate amount of rake.

Got my lift installed last night. 5100s set at 2.5 up front, 1.5 AAL out back. Just need an alignment. I don't think it looks hugely different but it feels huge!

I'm thinking about a cap, what are your guys thoughts? I like that I could have secure storage for some stuff and be able to mount things out of the weather.

Because with stock UCAs you won't be able to get caster right without trashing camber settings. Some LR UCAs will be the cheapest route to some good aftermarket UCAs that will allow you to get enough caster back so it doesn't drive all twitchy and not wear tires from camber being off. Caster off will not wear tires but will piss you off the way it handles. Mine are set at 1.75" and barely has enough caster to not be completely annoying but is still noticable. I have some fresh LR UCAs fixin to go on and some sub 5k 4 leaf packs to replace the weak ass 3s out back. Still staying at 1.75 tho, not going bigger on tires this time. 31s are big enough.

I would look into camburg or tc for UCAs, there have been some faulty weld issues popping up with the light racing ones lately.
