Haha for real, makes me wish I had the tack weld mod done. So much more noticeable that it's my only slop in the steering now that everything else is tightened up.

Comparing the two, it looks like the drivers side retainer bolt somehow slipped between the leafs. In the pics, the passanger side retainer bolt is above the main leaf. On the drivers side, the bolt is below the main leaf. Since at full droop only the main leaf is supporting the weight, it could cause the shackle to flip.

Edit: crappy cell resolution. I see now that both bolts are above the main leaf. Still seems looser on the passanger side though.

Yup! I had a buddy of mine who owns a fab shop help me out. I ordered the hinge from a company online and he got me a good deal on the metal. I'm super stoked with how it turned out.

I'm thinking make the emblem black but keep the hubs old style looking. Or maybe make the badges on the doors red. :notsure:

Haha I messed up the emblem anyways.

This might look terrible, but in my head I was thinking dip the whole bumper black, and use large stencils to spray on "toyota" or "tacoma" across the grill.

Ima take it to the shop thread

I'll peel off the red soon, but it does noticeably break more necks now lol.

But should I tint the headlights, keep the tint the way it is, or go back to 100% clear?

yes the right turn signal is darker, I need to fix it

Bought her yesterday, cleaned the dash, vacuumed her today. Decided to remove carpet... Ideas on what to put down as a replacement for carpet? Thinking of a bed liner that you can roll on.

Mounted my Hi-Lift jack. I used:

    (2) 0.5"x2.5" bolts
    (2) nuts
    (6) very large washers
    (2) wingnuts

There is a 1" gap between the wheelwell and the drop-in liner which is why I needed such a large bolt. I park indoors so I don't have much of a need to lock the jack. Plus it takes a screwdriver to undo the wingnuts so theft should be unlikely except for determined theives.
