This board is super old! Main reason I want to do it is cause there is a good section where the foam is about 3/4''-1'' lower than the stringer, and I'm tired of sitting on the damn stringer. So my plan of attack is going to be to peal the skin back, resin in some new foam to fill the indents, sand it down to be even, and reattach the fiberglass? Should be easy enough. haha

Yeah...your plan sounds good. So, for filling, you're planning on using Microballoons then? If so, remember that stuff is heavier than undamaged foam so, you don't want to fill it in too thick with that stuff.
I could be wrong but, if the board is delaminating, you might have to remove the old and reglass that area. I'm no pro at fixing surfboards but, I've done my fair share of home repairs.

I used to love those home projects. I'd set up the horses with padding, lay the board down, get materials, knife & sander out....go to town. lol

When I get home...I'll try to see if I can locate an old photo haha

Negative on the Microballoons. I found a place where I can get all different sizes of foam in different thicknesses. I'm just going to get an over sized piece resin everything together and sand it down to line everything up. It's been hit or miss for me with the delam when using old glass. I'm going to try and use the old stuff, if it doesn't work, then I'll reglass it.

Haven't worked on boards in a while so this should be interesting.

    Ohh ok. Nice!

Well, good luck...I'd offer to help but I'm in an office all day. I have an hour to workout, eat, and get back to the office.

I get on mine every now and then but don't get too crazy. I have a little short cruiser that I like to just street surf on to the bar. Haha. Still fun as all hell!

Yep, I was going to go to a different spot but then I saw the truck and just had to park next to it! I decided to shop early for all my Pismo supplies… It wasn't too bad.

Last time someone wrote something on my tailgate in the dust it wasn't cool! Lol! :)

I'm glad you were able to decide on the parts best suited for the lift you want. I have heard good things about the Icon Progressive 3 Leaf AAL & had Bilstein 5100's on my 04. I think you'll be happy with your purchase.
