That kind of stuff doesn't really bother me...I know it has to happen. And if there's a hungry bear in the area I'd rather he find his meal somewhere other than me and/or my cooler
I do have limits though...I only waited for about 30 minutes in 10* weather this winter for a bunch of bald eagles to come back to a deer carcass alongside the road

Why do I not see a TW sticker on that window Bob?

It's there now. Had to clean up my truck a bit. I posted somewhere about getting the sticker from you. I appreciate it. Proudly displayed!

After reading this entire thread I am going camping tomorrow after work. Actually we had the trip planned for the last three weeks and I found TW last week.

I also am very interested on the RTT that I have seen on this thread. Actually everyone's camping set ups are awesome. It's hot in the desert and I am ready to head north for a few days.

Keep all the great camping photos coming. I am really enjoying the Tacoma and TW is going to cost me some money, I feel it now.

Welcome to the crowd...be sure to bring back some pictures to share from your trip!
And yes, it will get very expensive to be here. Happens to everyone, there is no escape.

I was surprised it was too - called the FS office just to be sure I could get up there. Snow wasn't bad, just the usual drifts and snow banks that are there all year. The pic of my truck next to the snow was the closest it got to the road. I think I'll be heading back next weekend just because its so gorgeous up there this time of year.

Lodgepole camp, Sequoia Natl Forrest. Awesome place to visit with a fraction of the tourists that you'll find in Yosemite.

Alright so my question is: Is it possible to have one of those setups that has the tent over the bed up in the air, but also be able to transport an ATV in the bed of the truck to and from the campsite? How much clearance is there from the bed to the bottom of the tent?
