Go with the Alpines. If youre going to spend 265 on those hertz just save a bit more and buy those DLS's I posted... Dls's are way better than those Hertz are... And so are the Alpines...

Personally though I would get a sub... Especially if you listen to Dubstep and Jazz... Jazz is what they play through speakers at the car audio competitions... Just all instrumental stuff... Bur you need an amp processing amp and a head unit otherwise buying speakers is pointless...

If anything get a head unit first and than fine tune to get the speakers you want....

I have to make custom kick panels because I plan on getting tube doors some time soon... Speakers will have to not be in the doors :(

just leave the cover off. I was talking with Torspd and Locurio Runner over the weekend, and someone else made a comment about putting the cover back on Torspd's truck. locurio runner (very knowledgable automotive engineer) told us that he got curious one day and put an IR gun on the 1gr in his 4 runner with and without the cover on. said just by having the cover on, you can increase your IAT by over 10 degrees.

what does that mean? it means that simply taking off your engine cover is more advantageous than a $300 aftermarket intake.

 That is amazing, people on here spend so much money on warm air intakes trying for more MPG and HP, yet something that cost me nothing to do just achieved the intended effect... I wish i could go spend a day with Tor and Lucario just doing nothing but talking performance crap.... they are insanely knowledgeable about these trucks and the engines in them its unreal

like an aftermarket intake, on an otherwise stock motor, i doubt you'll feel any difference, but it surely doesn't hurt

if you hook up an OBD2 reader, oyu'll probably be able to see the differance in the temperature that the MAF sensor sends out.

Our Tacoma's sure are noisy with the windows down.

I have a set of Boston Acoustics SA90's in my Tacoma and like them a lot!

Won't have to but the quality of the sound is not going to get 1000 times better... More like 50 times due to lack of Amps
