    Is it available already???

    Edit:
Rust-Oleum® NeverWet® is a two-step product system designed to create a moisture repelling barrier on a variety of surfaces. It is suitable for use on metal, wood, aluminum, galvanized metal, PVC, concrete, masonry, asphalt, vinyl siding, fiberglass, canvas, most plastics and more.
Not intended to be applied to electronic devices, clothing or farm animals and domestic pets
    Dries to a flat finish
Durable formulation, ideal for indoor/outdoor conditions
Dries fast — 30 minutes to touch

Not sure about the "Flat" finish over a clear coated vehicle. Wouldn't that make it dull looking:confused:

that xylon stuff works pretty good too. I did my interior carpet years ago and it's still held up and beads everything i've spilled for an easy clean-up.

I'm interested in finding out how Nissan did it, and how durable it is.

that vids old, I think they were just playing on the superhydrophobic hype rather than turning it into something

all of those waterproofings are fragile so far, they wipe off easily

Yeah...prob right... I'm sure we're headed that way in the near future. As much as I hate washing a dirty ass truck, the thought of not having to wash it kinda sucks as well. It's something I have done forever and I always get a satisfied feeling after seeing a freshly washed and waxed vehicle that I worked my ass off on. But....I'm pretty sure I would get over it fairly quickly...lmao!!

I was wondering how they would fit with the aal. All the ubolts have about one bolt amount of thread remaining except one just has about 2 threads left for some reason. I was going to post a pic to see if you guys thought it was normal or not but its raining. Its just weird one is different. Wish I could have watched the install but was working today

they should all be pretty close in threads exposed...when you tighten them down, make sure to do it evenly

Yeah thats what I thought. I gotta take another look and see whats going on. Its just the driver side front one that gets tight with only a couple threads exposed. All the others have about half an inch remaining.

    Too long to list :D
You could also run a single relay with a blocking diode on the power wire from the dome light, then you can also run the switch wire to the same pole without activating your dome lights accidentally :)

Eh, those eco boxes aren't real Nissan's anyway :p

yeah, I was thinking about that too. need to figure out which wire feeds the dome and a good place to tap into it first.

Yeah diodes are the easiest and cheapest way to get the job done. That's how I had that strobe controler hooked up when I was toying with it.

Your 2 brains together can rule the world! Def don't want the domes on when the switch is on... If you electrical geniuses want to meet up next weekend for the mod install with these rock lights...lmk Switches come in tomorrow, so I'll have all the parts. Hopefully get the Roof bar brackets as well this week...
