Well, today I spent about 1 1/2 hours cleaning the Engine compartment then it was dressed with Adams in and out spray. Then I started my Opti-Coat Pro application today as I did the hood only to see how it was going to go.

I will have to say that the application of this product is somewhat tricky but can be done with some patience.I was scared as hell thats why I only did the hood but I think I can complete this with out any issues.

The hood picture was taken to show the shine with the garage light between my bike spokes hanging from the ceiling above my truck.

Sick rig man, but your fender flares still look smooth. What type of bedliner did you use?

    Thanks for the help folks.

What I don't get is why there are different part numbers and prices for the different model years. Yet if you want to buy an aftermarket part like MOOG, there is no distinction between the model years.

    Lets take an example:

If I punch in my 1998 Tacoma 4WD Extra Cab 2.7, I have these options

43340A JOINT ASSY, LOWER BALL, FRONT LH
    43340-39286 1 $142.51

    Replaced by 43340-39585

43330K JOINT ASSY, LOWER BALL, FRONT RH
    43330-39366 1 $142.51

    Replaced by 43330-39815

    But if I punch in a 2003 Tacoma 4WD Double Cab 3.4, here's what I get

43340A JOINT ASSY, LOWER BALL, FRONT LH
    43340-39436 1 $156.27

43330K JOINT ASSY, LOWER BALL, FRONT RH
    43330-39556 1 $156.27

An application search of the part numbers on camelback toyota reveals that the

    43330-39815 fits 1995-2004 models and
    43330-39556 fits 2001-2004 models.

So what the hell is the difference? Both parts cost about the same from camelback. Why not simplify the supply chain and only have one part number?

Relentless makes them. Think OKLED does too?

Thank you. Been lookin for a while for them. I didn't see anything on ok led's website bit relentless has them for there "rampage" bars which look the same and have the same deminsions and output specs as ok led. I think there the same bar just rebranded so it should work no prob.

Duplicolor bed armor. The one in the spray can. I added a couple posts to this old thread from 2013. More information there. As well as recent links for the fender clips to buy and a close up texture picture.

I joined an old relentless fab "rampage led" group buy. Its the 42" radius bar. They have both low profile and high profile mounting options on there site.

    http://www.relentlessfabrication.us/online-store.php#!/~/category/id=8818899&offset=0&sort=priceDesc

    FJ cruiser TRD trail teams.

I can't speak for okled. I'd suggest checking their site or sending their representative on here a PM. Mines mounts are from relentless fab. I don't know if they would fit.

:) Thanks. "nobulltoyota" sells them on ebay for pretty cheap.

Yep. these are the relentless ones. Not sure about OKLED.

I think he has them in the group buy threads, send him a PM if he sells them seperately.

More than likely they're all the same bars if they're from china.

edit: here's the mounts from okled: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1s...1st-gen-96-04-tacoma-led-bar-roof-mounts.html

IMO Relentless' lowpro are the best looking.

Ya, just auto zone parts. The weekend before I replaced the steering rack bushing. The steering has a nice solid feel now.
