One thing I don't like about the go pro is the size.

I swear my stupid seadoo will only run a maximum of once a year. I had it out on Saturday (after wrenching on it for like 3 weeks) and it was running beautifully, tossed the key to my buddy and he went out for quite awhile. Just as I was thinking he'd been gone an awful long time he comes into the cove tied to the back of another ski. Engine turned into a water pump instead of an air pump, so that's wonderful.

 

I thought about buying a couple for me and my ole lady, until my boss told me about the happiest day of his life...the day he sold his jet skis.

 

While they're fun, the fact that you're limited to using them only a few months out of the year doesn't sound worth the cost.

 

Just rent.

 

Definitely this. I feel that way about boats as well. I've been working for a marine parts wholesaler for the last four years, and it just doesn't seem worth it to me at all.

 

I have a shirt that says "If it flies, floats, or fucks it's probably cheaper to rent" it's so true haha

I didn't intend on getting it but my neighbor just gave it to me when he got sick of fixing it. So I'm only into it like 500 bucks otherwise no they are absolutely not worth it. It's a blast when it's running though and the ladies love going for rides

 

This is why it was great working for a boat dealer. When it was nice out I had my choice of the nicest and newest boats without the hassle!
