Thanks guys! All said and done total cost was $14 for 2 cans of plasti-dip. The rest is just select taping for the silver lip.

I was just wondering this weekend how this would look on my Toy. The answer is awesome. Added to the list, thanks for the inspiration!

To be 100% honest, the silver lip was inspired by my fiances question "what happens if i hit a curb?" silver lip it is.

I just used regular scotch tape on the lip then painters tap on top of the scotch tape and the rest of the tire. There is a bit of a gap between the center hub of the wheel and the lip, so if you take your time to slide the tape into that gap, the lip comes out really crisp.

I cant say i have ever managed to donk a rim by sliding by a curb on 265 tires on a 7 in rim.... and i drive by braille when parking... but either way, that silver lip came out real nice!
