Not sure what most people are running with a three inch lift but most of the RCD people run that run dakars have the 3 inch leaf pack and add a 1 inch spacer block. You can also get custome made 4 inch leaf packs.

So the RCD kit doesn't include a drive shaft carrier drop bracket?

It comes with spacers that lower the bearing.

Are any of you guys running aftermarket springs with your rcd 5100's? Can anyone also confirm if it is just a longer version of the 5100 with no height settings correct?

A couple people have switched to OME springs, you would have to search back around the first 30 pages for that info. The Billies that come with the kits now are not adjustable.
The ride quality with the new shocks and factory springs is incredibly nice, Im almost having second doubts about ordering the Icons but ill get back with everyone in a couple weeks when they show up on my door step since it takes them three weeks to build.

Thats what I was hoping to hear, thanks! Id rather just have the one setting anyways. From my understanding they give 5" of lift even with stock springs and no spacers? Looking to use them on my bds 6" lift. Trying to ditch spacers all together but, I want to achieve about 7" roughly

I got exactly 5" of lift in the front in my DCSB. No spacers on right side. 1/4" spacer on left side to compensate for taco lean.

Here is my question that has me stumped. My setup is starting to rub more and more. I have the RCD kit obviously, with Total Chaos UCA's and 33-12.5-17 tires on a 17x9 wheel with 4.5"BS. The first few months had no trouble. Now it is starting to rub on the frame on the back fender well. I talked to Wheelers, they said the TC UCA's tend to sit the wheel farther back in the fender well and the factory springs are probably settling. They suggested to increase the caster on the lower control arm and maybe get OME 883 coils. Not sure I agree with adjusting the LCA's as my alignment is within factory spec. Is anybody else having this problem or using different coils? My 09 had no issues at all.

If you had the Lr uca's you could adjust your camber to avoid the rubbing. Not sure I agree with adjusting your lca's either and if you add 883's it would put you nose high. You could always add a 1/2" top plate spacer which whould yield you atleast 3/4 lift but you would need to change your bolts to longer ones on your top hats.

Camber's not going to effect your rub. The aftermarket UCA's that TC, Icon and AllPro
make adjust the caster rearward for lifted trucks to help get your caster back in alignment
With the RCD DB design your not effected like people who install and crank up there coil overs for height.

Any reccomendations on top plate spacers? I didnt think that was a very good idea either?

Forget the top plate spacers and go with adjustable coil overs. Icon, King or something along that line.

Do either of those companies work with the RCD kit? Which would you go with?

Here is a variety to choose from. You probably only need the 1/2"

What's your caster at? With larger, heavier tires, factory spec for caster results in twitchy steering. Getting your caster at or above 3 will both move your tires away from your fender and improve the handling of the truck.

My truck has the caster set at 4 and has plenty of clearance between the tire and fender.

Hi guys not trying to thread jack but after my lift billys at 1.75 I'm having passenger spring rub on my uca the truck came out looking huge for only being set at 1.75 I originally wanted to stack a 3/8ths toytech spacer plate on both sides to gain lift with out maxing the 5100s out at 2.5 and having travel issues I don't have the alignment numbers but they just barley got it into specs does this sound strange to any one else. Trucks an 07 sr5 stuck 32s under her look like toys feel like I could be clearing 35s any recommendations on what ucas I should look into thanks guys
