For all that rock crawling he's gonna be doing for sure! Skids too. Might as well get a crawl box too. Just saying

Let's get a bunch of bumpers for the FL guys then all go on a wheeling trip up there and pick em up on the way lmao

 

yeah I know lol...but the money I would spend on that would be for my winch, so i wouldnt be able to buy the winch

 

Winch is the last thing I'll get. (Everyone is different)
I consider it more of a want than a need.
Needs: full skids, front bumper, sliders.
Wants: winch, rear bumper, lockers, on board air.

But that's just me

 

I'll wait and see how Chris's comes out first and I was just thinking about driving up there so didn't have to pay for shipping but I'm pretty sure I'll spend more then a 100 bucks for gas to get there and back also being 2wd a winch is pretty important to us

 

We can ride in one truck. I'll get a front and rear bumper, you get a front. That is $150x3= $450 in shipping saved already. Prob use $180 round trip in gas...maybe more if we wheel there

 

I was thinking of doing the same thing just driving up there, but its an 8 hour drive to where he's at. being 2wd, a winch is a must, without having power to the front wheels we need something that will help us. as much as id like to get skids, Id prefer a winch knowing ill be able to get myself unstuck if the situation ever came that I needed to use it

I could pick your bumper up when we go. My parents live near PC so you could ride over and grab it when I go visit lol.
Yeah maybe you need a winch more than I thought.

 

Says on google maps you are 2 hrs west of my parents house haha not bad.

 

Too bad I already got a bumper. I'd be down to go though. We can do gulches on the way

As for your winch dilemma, if it helps I got sliders skids rear bumper and lockers in that order before I even ordered a front bumper and Im still winchless

Me a custom bumper and a couple more of these guys get the $$stacks right to get one I would be willing to make that trip for sure.

 

lookin at the route id have to take from I-10 and 95, its 564 miles and Id have to go to JAX anyways...but getting up to SC id be spending about $100 in gas lol
