Well found out why my hip was killing me and even Vicodin wasn't doing squat...

I got shingles.. guess not all shingles is super painful, but I was lucky (unlucky) enough to get the joint pain with all the other stuff.. stick a sharp object into your hip, twist, and that's probably what it's like.. Then burn your leg and chest.. you get the idea..

At least got me some meds and some Oxy.. Asked the Dr. how long I could have the pain.. his answer.. "possibly a couple weeks".. wowzers..

Neil get better cause we're not getting any younger!

 

Hope you feel better soon! I know a few people with shingles and they say it sucks bigtime! Hope your occurrences are few and far between..

Face is seriously NO BUENO... I can live with some scars on my legs and even lower back.. but scabs and scars on the face.. no good...

I had it on my left side lower back in a strip that came around to my belly button. Still got some good scars still too. Was about 3-4 years ago. Pain lasted a month, maybe more. The capsaicin cream helped by making everything else burn more than the pain from the shingles

 

Pain possibly lasting that long.... not what I wanted to hear...

 

I thought that was you at the theater, I gave a half shaka half wave but I don't think you saw me. I started to wonder if it wasn't really you so I didn't wanna flash any lights or anything. Thought I saw rathas truck accross an intersection from me once so I flashed my lights and waved like a fool, wasn't ratha.. That guy drove by and gave me the strangest look lol!

I had shingles last year, omg da fuckn burning pain! I was lucky it was only a small patch on my ribs.
