    is the black one the new elite? I want to get the elite soon had an xbox 360 when it first came out back in 2005 and suffered 3 rings of death so i sold it. Got a PS3. I heard the elite has less problems with them so....

    the black is my new one...its just a black face plate to match my monitors and its the xbox arcade and I put my old hard drive on it...i had the E74 display
