    My buddy had 40s on a stripped down mini truck on 8" front and rear, 4.10s (any lower and they get weak), 22re, standard trans, duals with 2.28/ marlin 4.7

    After breaking almost everything in the front he went to dirty 30s, 6 shooters, ALL ARP studs, chromo hub gears.

    Then he blew up rear output

    Went chromo output

    He decided to try and keep cases alive he needed tons, so 60/14 with 5.38s, lower gears stress the cases less...

    We just blew up the 4.7 gears at fordyce, turns out they're Marlin Crawler 4.7 circa 1996 LOL

    Helped him rebuild his cases with some TG 4.7s which are chromo. We'll see what happens next. :eek:

    ill post up better pics of it later. I mounted the lower links lower to keep as much distance between upper and lower links. that way the axle has less leverage under heavy loads

    Keep in mind I have no clue what im doing nore do I own a tape measure just doing it all buy eye and using string so I get the lengths the same.

    Not trying to rain on your parade but, unless you are going for a 30"+ frame height on about a 37" tire you are going to be fighting that truss for any uptravel. Looks good though.

    this is still guess work but this is 8" of up travel with 34" of frame hight. gonna try and drop it down. really didnt want to cut into my fenders for shock towers but thats the price i pay for running 18's

    yeah if i cut the fuck out of everything which i dont want to do. remember i plan on running a 42-44" tire. also when i lower the truck that 8 inch's the oil pan sits on the hydro assist. yes it's the factory pan and i will end up changing it but that still doesnt mean i want to cut the fuck out of my engine bay to drop the truck to your 24" frame height. Keep in mind i snow wheel and bolder hop having a tall frame helps me in those elements

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I'm not saying drop it to 24" but you can get it a lot lower I think 28" would be a good height if you want tall on the 42's but that's just me. We do a lot of off camber rock crawling out here so high frame rigs tend to tip over on their lid.
