I liked the guy with gutted front end, lol. At first I was like 'wtf?' But the explanation made sense *shrug*

A buddy invited me saturdays to go to pismo. I finished my chores and the wife let me drive down there for the night. It was a great last minute trip. The sand is awesome and I finally got to use my traction boards when I got stuck.

Thanks guys but it looks like MJ won by a land slide. He has 100,000 miles on his OME suspension. He could use the gift card.

Nice pics!! Glad you got outta there w/o any damage. I always end up F'ing something up over there :(

I hope I hold onto the lead! I def need new suspension. My OMEs have run it's course (120k+ miles) but I need something with more down travel

BAHAHA! Not going LT for sure. The few occasions where I have driven fast, I've driven off ledges in Pismo and Moab :(

Still deciding b/t Icons and Kings

I started out fast and then I went down a couple big ledges that ate my fenders pretty bad. so I slowed down which was fun till I got stuck. The locker and atrac just dug me in on the hill. Then I had to use the traction boards to back out of the holes I dug. It was alot of fun though. The best part was the morning view of the ocean from my tepui.

I would do kings upfront with the bamf relocation kit in the rear and 12 inch kings in the rear with a new leaf pack or referbish yours. If your not going to do the relocation do Icons...

That is exactly what I was thinking of doing actually. I'll have a better idea of what I do if I win that gift card to Rebel

MJ! FWIW Nick and I have Icons and love em...all the desert dudes down here run King put it's the race series and not just OEM stuff. For OEM bolt on goodies I would go Icon. I have extended travel coil overs and the icon uniball UCA. I love my setup. Believe me...I beat the shit outta this suspension
