As we all know Toyota offers a Blu Logic bluetooth system either port installed or dealer installed for the 08'-09' Tacoma's but what about the early 2nd Gen? Well after much studying of the radio schematics for the 2nd gen I determined there isn't much difference between an 05' till 09' so i purchased a Blu logic system (part # PT92300091) thinking worst case scenario was I would have to move some wires around. Got it today and to my surprise it was literally all plug and play, no wires to cut, no splicing, no modifications! My truck is an 05' DC,LB with the JBL factory radio system. So the system will work for all 2nd gen Taco's with the factory JBL, if you dont have JBL system and your seriously considering buying this bluetooth system let me know and I'll look up the schematics and try to confirm if it will work or not. P.S. you can find these systems on ebay for about $185, hope this helps someone

Yes it will, this system was designed for your truck. It's the JBL owners and 05', 06',07' owners that I just found out will work with no problems

It does, mounts right to one of your empty slots where your fog light switch is

    I have a question...

How would this system work with my aftermarket pioneer head unit? Would it still be a plug and play, or would I have to use the factory radio?

I am sure it would probably do it with just the factory unit...
