Haha, sounds like a great idea...I'll go with a 1st gen Tundra before I get a 2nd gen Tacoma. I love the 4 door 1st gen Tundras.

Hey all, new to TW. I'm up in Sonoma County but get around most of the bay area/Tahoe area fairly regularly. Anybody purchased a shell from Campways or Truckworld in Santa Rosa, or anywhere else in the bay area? Looking at the Leer 100R with the dog options and curious if anybody has any recommended distributors with good prices! I was quoted almost $1600 from the two shops above, which seems a few hundred too high.

DAMN!! I had to google it. Looks like its in a northern suburb, so I think we're okay. The airport is kinda in that area, but we'll be taking the train from there, so we won't be on the street, phew!

I've bought form Campways in San Jose. Bit more expensive but I got what I wanted and I've been able to have them help with other stuff too.

If cost is a concern, A.R.E seem to have similar offerings.

    ...too much shit to list.
I got my A.R.E. tonneau cover from Stormin Norman's in SJ at a VERY reasonable price. Had it since 2006 with zero issues.

Check of mundaka Spain is close to you. It's a beautiful coastal town overlooking a world class barreling left hander. Beautiful spot.

Apparently, they accompanied Marine One to SFO from Los Altos today.

I thought that's what I saw today. Working at Stanford Mall and saw an osprey following what looked like Marine One...

"Hey man... I think that's the president..."

Not much in the way of options on that... Campways is the way to go though... just tell them to leave their sticker off it. The leer are MUCH cheaper than the SnugTops

Thanks Shaggs! SnugTop doesn't have the dog friendly features so much as the Leer, which is my main necessity for the shell. Side note is keeping gear out of rain on trips, but it's for the dog and keep cab space for car seats.

I looked at those screens and thought, depending on the dog, you would do better fabricating a pair from something heavier.

I was checking the SnugTops, they have dog mesh option for slider windows, or windoors... They have a really cool outdoorsman one too with suburban style doors. thought about that one for a while.
