    I just spent 3 weeks of leave there ( I should've driven) and miss everything about that state except for the blazing heat right now. When I retire I will be moving back there or Montana. You'll be happy there.

    They are great. I just picked up tons of ammo before I left. You can buy it damn near everywhere unlike Cali. Gotta wait for damn gun shows and it's really expensive.

    guns are one of this state's most favorite things. Its a safe bet that 3/4 households have at least one gun.

    on the same note though, since the state is super conservative, the laws and attitude of the political body reflect that. but its really not a big deal.

    I buy my groceries with money made selling guns on the border. Only those who are used to being oppressed would praise the gun laws of WA state.

    About 40 years ago, I got back from the draft. I drove a 49 CJ2A with a 401 Buick and 5.38's for days at 35 MPH to get here. It was worth it.

    I have not jumped off the time zone bridge, but a few years ago at about 2 am I did stand on the rail of the Dent bridge and pee into the great wide open. Longest pee I ever made.

    Relatively speaking, Boise may be better than CA, hell even WA may be better than CA, but this area is full of refugees from the southern end of the state.
