I was thinking about that, the lower part of the coilover is awful close to the axle shaft/boot area..

Anyone commute on the 15? My company is looking to move down to Miramar. If they move down there my commute suck more then it does now.

What's the word on the Welks Run???? i've never been there before and I live 5 min away. From the videos I saw on youtube it looks like mostly rock crawling? I have 4x4 so maybe I should go check it out

Well the deal is it is technically illegal. Though I've never heard of anyone being impounded it is a possibility. There are a LOT of side trails so I would go with someone who knows the area as it is easy to get lost and some parts are fairly difficult.

 

Illegal to drive offroad there? I didn't think it was private property...

 

LW is owned by some developer and the whole deal went tits up. Was supposed to be an entire neighborhood. I know the place really well since I live down the street, I can give you guys the 5 cent tour one of these days in the Jeep.

I missed seeing any details... I may be game for another night run or day run (I have AC)... Link please. Been getting a lot of work since the last run, so this must be good luck for me to go four wheeling (and have a tow strap for the 2WDs that always seem to get stuck when I am nearby)!

 

Traffic wont be too too bad from Murrietta to Miramar Rd. It all depends on when you leave... I leave from Poway to SD around 0630 but today I left at 0700 and traffic was twice as bad.

Just have to worry about all the military people that have to be at work 7/730.

 

Haha, good deal, gotta go to Havasu this weekend to check up on my place and go do some riding to keep my ass in shape, I got a Nationals race in Panaca Nevada on the 23rd of Aug.

Anybody ever down for a midweek run at LW? I think the only way in now is the AM/PM, I havent checked the greenhouse entrance in a while but somebody told me its open again.

I prefer that so we can do a big run and end up on the other side instead of having to backtrack. Due to lack of rain its really slippery out there! I only had one getoff on Sunday on the dirtbike though, haha! Damn ruts! Like riding on marbles on the peaks of ruts, good practice I suppose..

 

I do everyday to Del Mar area from Murrieta. If your company lets you roll in slightly after traffic rush like my company it is only a 45min drive one way. If not it is about an hour and half.
