Solution for springs.

I've got a '96 with squeeky leaf springs. It was suggested that I remove and sand each spring to remove any rust and dirt . Then apply two coats of "Slip Plate" graphite paint. Anyone with experience with this product or any other simular graphite paint? I'm looking for a solution and not a temporary fix. I may be too late on this but what is this "TSB" pertaining to leaf spring replacement? Any and all suggestions are needed. Thanks.

 

i pressure washed mine out and sprayed wd40 everywhere in and around them and they stopped squeaking

 

pressure wash then spray white lithium grease from auto zone/advance auto between the leafs. ive found it lasts longer than wd40

 

x2....................definitely pressure wash the springs out, and dont use wd-40.....it collects dirt and suck. a good dry moly lube will stay on/between the springs,and will repel dust.
