They are great quality! I was contemplating the powder coat option but I'm so glad I got it.

You destroyed a perfectly good standalone tent to build that? I would have too, looks very good. Thanks for sharing the idea. :)

Where did you get the bracket for your light bar? I just recently bought a 50 inch radius bar but can't find a bracket that will fit it.

Turned the AC to max setting and had some plastic grommet fly out from the top dash vent at me. It goes to something on this truck...

Yes the USB ports do charge devices. Everything nowadays has a USB so that's why I chose this type of socket.

I searched and searched but couldn't find what I was looking for. I know I should've done a write up but I kept forgetting to take pictures during the install. Pretty easy install though. I used a 12 gauge wire btw. 10 gauge should be good also.

First I found out where I wanted the socket to be, which was the center console... Then removed the center console (2 screws and 2 bolts) drilled the holes and test fitted. Routed the power wire to the front fuse box into the IGN fuse that is a 15amp fuse. Then grounded it under the center console because I didn't wanna waste too much wire. After wiring I tested to make sure everything worked fine and it did. Reassembled everything and tested again. Tested my shifter to make sure it didn't snag or get caught on anything and everything turned out fine.

I did this for when we go on long trips or if I have my nieces and nephews. Someone's always gotta charge something and I hated cords getting in the way from the front to the back. The bottom USB port is a 5V 2Amp which is strong enough to charge my Ipad!

FYI.. To make things easier when making the hole on that same panel I used... That panel can be detached from the center console for easier handling. Then snaps back into place when done. There are a couple of clips along each side, nothing on top or bottom. Snaps right off then right back on. Make sure not to force it because the clips can break.
