Install was pretty smooth... Although the scary part is when you drill thru the bottom side of your hood, be careful not to puncture thru the top skin. Also know that while drilling the bottom bracket, you'll most likely put a couple superficial scuffs in your paint. Hurt so bad... Oh and I put a ding in my Effen fender while trying not to drill thru my skin... But good thing is I know a paint and body guy, and it didn't mess up the paint at all.

I agree, I think in the instructions it says to put tape 1/4" from the tip of the drill bit so you don't puncture the skin. It seemed to do the job well. I did have to buy a $12 rivet tool but I am sure I can find many uses for that in the future. I probably would rivet the bottom bracket as well if I had to do it again.

TRD exhaust, pop and lock codeable tailgate handle, and bed extender installed today.

 

The tape is/was not the problem... When you drill thru metal once it gets thru, the bit will pull itself in. Regardless tape. So I'm just mentioning to be aware of it.
