I was talking with Mike earlier in ref ordering. Not sure how soon he wants to drop dime, but i was hoping to wait until Pelfreybuilt releases their new bumper which should be anytime now. Then I can be in on the shipment... I could always jump on their rear bumper anytime though...

 

Stop talking crap pronto... he may be looking to a GB and willing to split shipping... lol..

Let me know of we have some people for a bumper order... who knows, maybe they'll feel sorry for us and throw us a discount pre-black friday.. i want in..

I'm not in a rush to order, whenever everyone is ready.

 

Hooked up the Rock light kit to the fuse box Mike built and test fitted the lights to determine the mounting points prior to Sat install. Tried using double sticky foam tape to hold them in place for mount placement, but the heat from the led's prevented the tape from sticking...FML! Could only get it to hold for about 5 seconds...lmao Fuckers are bright as hell though. I'm still seeing spots from trying to put them in position...

 

Jeez. Sorry I didn't get back to you. My phone was upstairs charging

 

No worries brother... Need something better to hold them in place before they're permanently mounted so I can get a proper fitment. Gonna have to drill the frame for the centers and rears though for the permanent mount. The fronts will go through the fender liners...

 

indeed..with an avg 12 week wait, there's enough time to save up. when you guys are ready

You could just use some heavy duty 3M double stick tape, some of that blue clay stuff, or if all else fails, gather up a couple "little people" (aka midgets) to hold them in pace while you find the right position.... definitely not P.C. but what on this thread usually is???????

 

I'll pick up some of the heavy duty stuff tomorrow and give it another shot...
