Finally painted the "Tacoma" emblems on the door gunmetal to match the rest of the badges on the truck...

Nah... I took them off using a razor knife blade.... cleaned off all the old adhesive with Goo Gone, Plastidipped the emblems, painted them graphite, and then a few coats of clear.

I then bought 3M double sided adhesive tape, and put them right back where they were. :)

Got my 285/75/R17 Goodyear Territories installed today! :) Had to chop some of the plastic fender liner out... but they clear! :)

Just went through the whole build thread. It's come a long ways and looks awesome. congrats on it. Gave me some ideas of what to do with mine. Really feeling the bed lights. Had any trouble with them since you installed them a while back?

Thanks for the compliment man.... I love this truck! No issues whatsoever with the bed lights.... still love them too! One of my favorite mods to date.... next to the dash lights and lift and tires... and... ;)

Did an oil change, and re-wired my grill lights, so they work on a toggle switch in the dash.... decided to take a parting shot. ;)

Picked up an OEM shift knob from a newer Tacoma.... much nicer than the stock one, and not as flashy as the one I bought the first time...

    Original one:

Flashy Cheap E-bay one that broke:

What type of shift knob did you looked for? Anything different from all other ones? Just standard shift knob?

When I bought this new one... I searched for "TRD Shift Knob"... on E-bay and ended up finding a sale from a private seller, who replaced his stock unit with something different, and was selling his original one.

After having that other cheap E-bay one for over 2 years, I decided it was time to replace it, as I was having problems with it.

It's been a while... winters here a long and cold.... and I don't really have a good garage to work out of. That being said.... Spring has started, and I decided to give the Taco a thorough wash today. :)

I guess you can say... I washed my Taco today... lol.. ;)

Degreased the engine bay, swapped the air filter, changed the oil, and treated it to some Seafoam :D

    Truck looks good, my man!

How's that skyjacker lift working for ya?

    ... and I like this...

Did you cut the flag off an existing emblem, or buy just the little white/red flag portion?

THe skyjacker lift works great.... as for the flag... you're exactly right. I bought a TRD emblem off E-bay and cut the flag off. I like it.... Wanted something a little different on the side of the truck. :)

Did my annual spring cleaning on the Tacoma today. Had some nasty looking stains on the seats... used some WD40 and a scrub brush to get them out... looks like new again! :) (in case you guys don't now... WD40 is great for removing grease and other stains out of upholstery. I've been doing it for a few years now...)

looks shiny, I need to clay and detail mine too after I let the paint set up for a month or two.

if only wd40 would remove scratches from the plastic too.
