Has anyone experimented with vinyl wrapping fenders instead of getting them painted? seems like it could possibly be cheaper, or no? I imagine it would be difficult with all the curves in the glass.

it looks pretty good if it doesnt have any deep spots in it like louvers. It tends to peel up in those little spots along with the underside of the fiberglass where it gets cut.. Other than that its suppper easy to clean but you do get tears and rock chips in it pretty easily.

Sweet, I want to get some fenders but I dont want to run around with the mismatched fender look and I also dont want to spend that much on fenders that will get torn up, my next truck will be white for this reason haha

Cut out my inner fenders and now that i have lots of room I think I'm gonna make a lil wider/higher travel kit for my 4runner so seeing if anyone is interested in my current kit.

    Will fit 2nd Gen Tacomas

Hiem uppers, lowers, 3" lift spindles, steering, 8" coilovers with 600lb springs w/top mounts, bolt on resi mounts and 4 limit straps.
13" travel. Set up to run single shock plus airbump.
    keeping the air bumps
$2500 + your stock lowers and spindles.

Also have a set of 4 17" wheels with 285/70r/17 goodyears, about 3/8 tread left. Nice even tread, well rotated tires. $500

Hit me up if youre interested
    nine fore 9 - three tharee 8 - ate ate ate 4.

If only it would work for a 1st gen double cab :( How does someone drop off their springs and drive away with a 4-link? Unless the install is done at engage. My springs on on my truck

I always wondered how much over per side your kit was?

3 1/2 over per side, plus 7/8 each side for the lift spindles.

Anthony I might want a set of spindle blocks if you can still do that, or I may just use some stock spindles again and cut them up, ha.

Yeah I still get them milled. It's waaay easier than cutting that shit out of the stock spindle and easy to integrate into your design

So your straps still have slack? I say strap it maybe an inch higher because your leafs are starting to separate and the straps will stretch. How do your shocks look?

Yeah man your wrap looks awesome! I know full wraps get kind of pricey, Im going to contact some people and see if they can wrap just my front glass and get anywhere close to my radiant red.
