Came together great! The bumper looks good and the rear is proper now. No worries about the leafs now. Just make sure you re-torque those u bolts after couple hundred miles or so.

Yeah I love the look of the new bumper. Debating taking my rear off and just running the support behind it. I honestly still can't believe you did yours solo, even with two people, two jack stands, and three jacks + hi lift, it was a bitch.

Can't wait to flex it out at RC.

When I cut them off the dudes truck I lost some length on the legs. To get the length back I bought tube with 1/4" wall that had an inner diameter close to the outer diameter of the legs. I bought 2x2" steel plates from ebay and we cut the plates to get the gussets we needed too. We ground the legs down and then hammered 3" pieces of the 1/4" wall tube onto the legs about an inch to an inch and a half then welded the fuck out of everything. They turned out beefy as shit.

Went to Rausch Creek with about 20 TacomaWorld Trucks this weekend. Had a great time.

Here's whatever media I found of the truck from everyone.

Tried to pull a high centered truck and the rotted bumper wasn't having any of it:

Backed it into a tree to fix it:

It was a bit dirty but came back relatively unscathed:

I bumped my new bumper on trail 12 on a root I couldn't see. I pulled it off and hammered it back out:

    No repaint, just washed.

Helped do clutch this weekend at my cousins shop and greased my drive shift while I had it off.

Marlin Crawler HD clutch kit installed:

The difference in pedal feel is incredible. I'm glad I went to my cousins shop to do this because even with the three of us working on it (his guys did most of the work I was just helping where I could/learning) it was a much larger project than I thought. Especially since the pilot bearing was a bitch to get out and the 4wd system on the truck is so fucking heavy.

Also drooled over his new toy while I was there:

Took it out to hang out by the Delaware with my fiance:

New addition to the truck thanks to my fiance:

    Install process:

Melted ducting to get a super flush fit.

90* elbow for a flush fit, and used the bracket that came with the CB and zip ties to secure the CB in place.

    Last pines day trip:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmPfHCl6K3w

    Went night wheeling recently:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCZOUXRyy5w

Money's tight right now so the truck won't get much love for a while, and definitely won't get to wheel much for a while.

    Short list of maintenance required:
    Power steering rack
    LBJ's
    ITRE and OTRE's
    Both front axle seals
    Power steering rack bellows
    Brakes all around

I did finally get and install my new bumper though.

next time you go to the pines let me know, would love to explore with someone that knows the place. I have been a number of times, but solo and I usually get a little lost b/c I have no idea where I am going.

 Will do, I am still learning the area myself and only know a handful of locations to explore. I feel like we are finding more and more places to play around in though as the groups grow. We found two relatively new places to mess around in just a couple weeks ago.

Setup a perm spare tire mount in my bed this weekend. This lets me store the tire in the bed with the tailgate down (which I need to do to haul full size motorcycles) very securely and without taking up a ton of bed space. Got the hardware from harbor freight as well as the strap setup. It's actually meant to secure a vehicle to a flat bed trailer by it's wheels so it's more than rated for this application.
