Yup, just a bit much. White doesn't look great either...

Planned to do a retrofit on the bike, but after the issues I've had with them on my truck I don't want them...

 

Just seen the ones for sale. The black shroud isn't my favorite.

 

If you do paint the shrouds make sure to use a high heat paint. I used the cheaper Rustoleum and now it's pealing off the shroud in one big piece. I should re-do mine soon because the peeling paint is blanketing over the halo, just slightly

 

I used VHT Flame Proof black paint. Good for up to 2,000* fahrenheit haha

 

I wish I could buy things without wasting my time or my money but it seems like its gotta be one or the other. Either spend your time getting it done or pay someone to do it.

 

Thought it was still only a concept...

I'm thinking about just paying somebody to re-do mine...

I like mine all black but I did leave the reflectors orange and always have the halos on.

Mine arent peeling or fogging and I used rustoleum. But I also prepped and sanding all the parts so they weren't smooth finish.

 

Also my fairing arrived today! Too bad it's my moms bday so tomorrow they will be going on.

 

I forgot you even had retros since you only have one pic!

Finally got around to getting my 4th of July pics off of the camera. Didn't have my tripod with me.

Made myself shoot in all manual, and I must say I feel like these pics are better than my usual ones...

Yeah, I've always liked darker vehicles anyways. The green is honestly probably my second favorite color choice for 1st gens.

This was my first time using manual all day. I usually stay in aperture 99% of the time. I've used manual very rarely, but figured it would be the best way to make me learn each aspect of my camera, and it did.

 

I have more pictures. Awesome!
