    Yes, the A750F 5 Speed Auto has clutch disks, although i don't see them listed anywhere as a wear item, so they don't seem to be a common failure.

    Was it the engine that went south? If it was a 6 cylinder I bet it was the 3.4L. A POS!

    Did the SS brake lines on my truck. I'm in Harpers Ferry if you want to make the trip. Like Sky said I can talk you through it on the phone. Basically disconnect the old lines, install the new and let them gravity drain as long as possible before hooking them back up at the lower points. DON'T let the reservoir go dry or you'll be looking at a tow to the dealer.

    They wear out in the GM transmission. Under normal use expect 150 to 175K life. If you abuse them, using the shifter to shift through the gears under hard acceleration expect only 100 to 125K of useful life.

    The 4.3 is still used today in a chevy Silverado with dual turbos according to my blazer friend or that vehicle is coming out to compete with the ford f150 ecoboost
