I'm currently involved in a Tacomma project that integrates some wiz-bang electronics including two touch/bezel button displays which are mounted close to the dash on the passengers side.

Trying to find a method to disable/override/fool the passengers side airbags. I'm assuming there is a "seat weight sensor" to engage the airbag.

You can imagine what two rugged diplays would do to a passenger if the airbags are deployed and the displays launched. BTW, this vehicle will not see much on-road time.

    Thanks for any help

Depends on which generation Tacoma you're talking about ...

1995.5 - 2004 = No passenger sensors in the seat
    2005+ = Passenger-side sensors in the seat
