Very happy with Jerry's work and products! Although I wish these were BAMF sliders, they were still fixed up with gussets, powder coat and welded on by a pro.

I stay away from socket sets because they usually come with 80% more cruft.

Basically you need to determine what type of socket you want, 6-sided vs 12 sided (or points). 6 usually is the best because they give you the most contact area, but 12s are useful when you're in a situation where the bolt or nut is in a very tight area.

The advantage of having a socket set with only the stuff you need is that it doesn't take a lot of room and can fit in a small pouch or container, this is super important if you plan on storing your tools in your vehicle or only have a little bit of space to do so in an apartment.

But definitely get a ratchet for 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drive and also pickup the same sizes that you need in box end wrenches.

On the way back from the sierras. What an awesome trip. Did brewer lake to the bottom, bald mountain and strawberry lake.

Anyone here headed to MCR?? I'll be out there as a passenger in a group of 2 tacos, 2 1st gens and a exo'd 4runner. Should be a good time.

Also, should have my new project this month :spy:20140720_200754_683b554910bbd7768fd95126754a175d0498d387.jpg
